Boys Head Coach

Bob Falk

Boys' Head Coach Bob Falk took over the program in 2021. He has a long history of rowing and coaching in the area. Coach Falk rowed 4 years at the University of Pittsburgh, 3 time Dad Vail grand finalist. After college he competing in the single in the Masters category competing at the Head of the Schyull, Occaquain, Ohio, Kings Head, Navy Day, Head of the Charles. Presently he sculls out of Viking Rowing Club. He has previously coached at Stockton College 1997-2000, St. Augustine Prep 2000-2002, Atlantic City High School Varsity girls 2002-2006, Viking Rowing Club youth rowing 2000 – 2014, High School sculling coach Atlantic County Rowing Association 2016-2019 and at Mainland.

        Girls Assistant Coach

        Eileen Lipshultz

        Eileen Lipshultz is a former four-year rower from The University of Delaware. In her time at Delaware she medaled several times at both Dad Vails and the CAA championships. Eileen earned her BSN while at Delaware and is currently a nurse in the Trauma, Surgical and Neuro intensive care unit at Atlanticare Regional Medical Center. In addition to coaching, Eileen is an avid Crossfitter, hiker and skier in her free time.

          Girls Assistant Freshman Coach

          Eileen Lipshultz

          Colin Fair competed for both St. Augustine Prep and Stockton University throughout his career as a rower. At Stockton, he helped revitalize a program decimated by Covid, leading them to the podium in their conference championship for the first time in recent memory. Volunteering at ACRA summer programs provide his only experience as a coach, and he is very excited to start his first season as a high school coach. He enjoys practicing jiu jitsu and reading a good book in his free time.

            Girls Head Coach

            Matt Mohnack

            Matt Mohnack rowed locally for St. Augustine, earning medals at the Stotesbury Cup and Philadelphia City Championships. Matt also achieved several County and State championships, including a National Championship, before continuing to row for Drexel University. In his time at Drexel he secured several fall and spring medals, including at the Dad Vail regatta and a team high finish at the IRA regatta. Matt is a mechanical engineer with the FAA and has been coaching Mainland Girls since 2019.

              Girls Varsity Coach

              Kelli Gramlich

              Kelli Gramlich rowed for 4 years in college and for several years at the club level, competing in several major east coast regattas including Dad Vails, Head of The Schuylkill, Head of the Charles and more. Kelli has a Master of Science in Nursing and is currently a nurse practitioner for Trauma and Surgical Critical Care at Atlanticare Regional Medical center in Atlantic City. In her limited free time, she enjoys running hiking and CrossFit.  She also enjoys spending time with her family and pets.  She is especially proud of her daughter Lily, a recent Mainland grad and current member of Drexel University’s Division One women’s rowing team.

                Girls Assistant Varsity Coach

                STEPHANIE HANLIN-HALE

                Steph is from Somers Point and started rowing like most in the area on the back bays of Ventnor/Atlantic City. She continued rowing at Mainland Regional HS for the next four years. Steph received a full athletic scholarship to row at Temple University where is sat stroke for the varsity 8 all four years. Upon graduation she continued to row for UBC master’s program on Boat House Row. Living in Philadelphia, Steph coached high school girls crew at Merion Mercy Academy and Radnor High School. She also worked for Sykes Rowing in sales and boat repairs at this time. Steph now resides back in Somers Point with her husband and works for the family printing business. You can see her working at Somers Point bars and she is the secretary on the Somers Point Business Association.
