What is the Mainland Rowing Association?

 Mission Statement

The object of the Mainland Crew Association shall be to provide logistical and financial support to the athletes and coaches of the Mainland Regional High School Crew Teams, and to promote the sport of rowing in the Mainland Community.  All parents of the active rowers are members in our association and volunteer in multiple ways for the betterment of the organization.

Parent Organization

Mainland Crew is supported largely by parent volunteer efforts.  We hold parent meetings so that parents are well informed on program information, ways to get involved and have a chance to meet each other to provide support for a better environment for their kids.  Parent meetings are normally scheduled weekly during the Spring Season and additionally as needed.  Board Members,  Head Coaches, and all parents are urged to attend.

The Parent meetings agenda typically covers Mainland crew philosophy, goals, communications, expectations, attendance, regattas/schedules, general communications, who to contact, parking/pick-up, payments, weather, waivers, fundraising, and volunteer opportunities.  It is essential for Mainland Crew and our culture and operations that we have parents volunteering for the many areas we need assistance with. Whatever your skill set, we have a place for you to help.
